On first launch the app asks for an API key. Signing up at console.groq.com is free and needs no card. The free tier goes a long way — up to 8 hours of audio a day. Open console.groq.com
Set a hotkey
Pick a key combination to start recording — then you're ready to dictate.
About the SmartScreen warning
The installer isn't signed with a code-signing certificate — that costs money and isn't worth buying for a free personal tool. So Windows will show a SmartScreen warning: click "More info", then "Run anyway". You don't have to take our word for it: run Get-FileHash KamaType-Setup-0.7.10.exe in PowerShell — the result should match the SHA-256 shown above.
AndroidAbout the Play Protect warning
The APK does not come from a store, so Android will ask permission to install from this source and Play Protect will show a warning — tap "Install anyway". You can verify the file the same way as on Windows: compare its SHA-256 with the one shown above. After installing, enable the keyboard in system settings; the app walks you through the remaining permissions itself.
