Setup

Four steps

  1. Download the installer

    The file below is a plain .exe — nothing else to install.

  2. Allow it to run

    Windows will show a SmartScreen warning — that's expected, details below.

  3. Paste your Groq key

    On first launch the app asks for an API key — get one at console.groq.com.

  4. Set a hotkey

    Pick a key combination to start recording — then you're ready to dictate.

Heads up

About the SmartScreen warning

The installer isn't signed with a code-signing certificate — that costs money and isn't worth buying for a free personal tool. So Windows will show a SmartScreen warning: click "More info", then "Run anyway".
